I need a real job
Right now I am a Jr. Chair in the Department of Student Activities. It’s great, I love it, but I don’t get paid for office hours. It’s a really stressful job and this weekend my senior chair and I just put on our first event. About 800 people showed and it was super successful. It just sucks because I only get paid for working events. I love my job and I really LOVE my coworkers (excluding a few dumbasses) but I need to work somewhere else so I can actually make my $2000 to get instate tuition.
I hate asking my parents for money. They are paying for my housing and education, so I should be able to pay for everything else. I don’t want to depend on them so much but it’s hard when I don’t have a consistent job.
I just applied for Tour Team at my college but I have no faith in making that. Because like I’ve said before… good things don’t happen to me.
